Hello Readers! 👋

The AI landscape is evolving at lightning speed, and last week, two major updates were released that could reshape how we interact with artificial intelligence.

OpenAI unveiled Deep Research, a powerful new AI agent within ChatGPT that can conduct complex, multi-step investigations across the web. Designed for finance, science, and engineering professionals, this tool can autonomously search, analyze, and generate structured reports in minutes—tasks that traditionally take hours or even days.

While OpenAI touts Deep Research as a game-changer, concerns remain about its ability to differentiate reliable sources from misinformation.

Meanwhile, Google expanded its Gemini 2.0 lineup, rolling out new models like Gemini 2.0 Pro Experimental for advanced coding and reasoning tasks, and Gemini 2.0 Flash-Lite, a faster and more cost-effective AI model.

The updates also introduce multimodal capabilities, allowing Gemini to generate text, images, and even multilingual audio. With native tool calling and deep integration with Google Search, Gemini 2.0 is shaping up to be a serious competitor in the AI space.
